Canadian scheme to encourage young women to get into politics

And what we see is we struggle to get women to be interested in running for office, and we need to break through that in the 21st century, we need more women to run, we need parties to run more women in winnable ridings, and we need more women in our House of Commons and in our legislatures,” says Carolyn Jack with Equal Voice, a multi-partisan organization that promotes more women getting elected at all levels of government.

The project will gather young women from across Canada to fill the Parliament.
