"MOTHERS should get taxpayer-funded superannuation while on maternity leave, according to a landmark recommendation by the federal Parliament to the Government.

In a move that would help grow women’s nest eggs, a parliamentary inquiry has found women should be paid the 9.5 per cent superannuation guarantee while receiving the Commonwealth Paid Parental Leave scheme (PPL).
